Entomology Laboratory

It has a capacity for 10 students, an area of 25.84 m², 3 masonry benches, 2 sinks, 3 integrated rooms – teacher’s room (5.94 m²), clinic in entomology (4.41 m²), insect breeding room (3.70 m²) and the following equipment:

– 04 Protective cover binocular biological microscopes, 110 or 220 V;

– Dual-illumination binocular stereomicroscope with dimmer adjustment at the bottom, zoom of 20x, 40x and 80x, with pair of eyepieces and objectives;

-Digital Thermohygrometer 7645MAX / MIN;

– Frost free duplex refrigerator, 340 L minimum capacity;

– Microwave oven with capacity for 23 L digital display;

– Laminar flow bench – vertical, electrical panel;

– Semi-analytical balance;

– Benchtop centrifuge, with microprocessor control, induction motor, key cover and automatic shutdown, control display with crest display;

– 1 Enhanced mirrored BOECO Neubauer Chamber, depth about 0.1;

– 2 simple Neubauer chambers, depth about 0.1;

– 3 automatic micropipettes with a variable volume of 0.1 µl to 10 ml;

– Dual core microcomputer, 2 GB memory, 160 GB HD;

– 3 Germination chamber with BOD incubator with temperature control;

– 1 germination chamber with BOD incubator with temperature and humidity control;

– 2 Potter Towers with 2 motomil compressors 24 L, 8.7 ft.
